Little ones are full of questions! This whimsical picture book takes a look at the answers to the many ‘Why?’ questions. The best part, is not the question or even the answer, it’s the unasked part of the question. Little Rabbit asks ‘Why?’ and Bear answers beginning with ‘Because…’ The readers must infer the whole question for themselves.
For example: ‘Why? Because they are very far away.’ The reader uses picture clues to understand that Little Rabbit must use a telescope to see the moon and stars up close.
But like the adults in a child’s life, Bear doesn’t always have the answer and might want to be left alone.
