Two friends spend a day at the beach where mishaps turn into funny adventures. A misplaced sippy cup becomes the nose of a funny sandman. An unattended bucket becomes the temporary home for a small crab. And a soaking wave brings the mommies with towels.

What a fun beach story for families! With only two words to repeat even the youngest children can ‘read’ along. There’s lots of room to identify objects and talk about what you might find on the beach. I would certainly recommend it for a young family preparing a trip to the beach.

A day at the beach is seldom an easy prep for families with babies and toddlers. But a few simple things can make the day so much more enjoyable for everyone.

An Easy Sew Towel Cover-Up is not essential, but it’s one less thing you have to carry and could be a timesaver for little ones who constantly drop their towels and refuse to put on an itchy sandy one. 

Pick up a mesh bag for sandy toys. Once you hit the showers you can rinse everything off without emptying the bag and it will dry super fast too!

Yes, a preplanned emergency kit will save you precious time digging through your stuff for the sunblock, tweezers, baby powder (great for removing sand off your baby’s body), or bandaids. I’d also have another smaller zipper bag for a comb, hair ties, lip balm etc.
