What About Moose? written by Corey Rosen Schwartz and Rebecca J. Gomez and illustrated by Keika Yamaguchi (2015)
The forest friends planned to build a treehouse. Fox had the blueprints, but Moose had other ideas. He did a lot of  shouting and directing, but none of the actual work. And in his haste to get the job done quickly instead of correctly, he got trapped inside the treehouse with a doorway that was too small for him to use. That’s when the rest of his friends worked out a solution. Now when his friends want to play a game, Moose follows, not leads.
Who knows a bossy friend? I do! I do! Sometimes, it’s okay. But usually, we want to do things another way. It’s time to learn how to do things together. Teamwork is the answer to most of the problems the forest friends have, what about you and your friends?
Here are a few tasty treats to share with your friends. You can even let your friends help you make it… as long as Moose isn’t too bossy!
Chocolate Mousse (you might want to leave out the brandy for the kiddos)
