Your Hand in My Hand written by Mark Sperring and illustrated by Britta Teckentrup (2015)
This is lovely rhyming poem about doing things together in love. The artwork shows two mice, probably parent and child, holding hands and going through life together. They walk in the snow and make friends with other animals. They splash in the rain puddles and gaze at a rainbow. They play in the meadow and sing songs. They find treasures in the woods and snuggle up close.
This is another sweet story about parents and children and living through the seasons. Add this to your collection to reread on special ‘parenting’ days and  whenever your little one needs an extra cuddle.
Holding hands is not only sweet, sometimes it’s just plain good sense (parking lots, crossing the street).
